Jptus (Jp+) is a brand established to beautifully weave the "reliable technology" cultivated by Japanese craftsmanship into modern life.

We operate with the simple goal of revitalizing local communities by shedding light on the manufacturing industry.

The Japanese industry is fundamentally supported by unnamed factory workers. Most of their work involves supplying parts to companies, and we rarely see the fruits of their technology in our daily lives. Even when passing a small factory in town, few people realize that world-class technology thrives there.

It's hard to even recognize it as a factory.

Moreover, the industry that has built Japanese craftsmanship is now in decline.

As a Japanese person, and having been involved in product planning, the initial stage of manufacturing, for many years, I felt a sense of sadness.

The quality is undeniably world-class, yet countless technologies are quietly disappearing, pushed aside by the tides of time, without ever being known to the world. In Higashi-Osaka City alone, the number of factories, which was 8,680 in 2000, is projected to plummet to 2,500 by 2025.

However, simply promoting their specialized knowledge to the world as it is won't be understood by anyone.

We believe what's needed is to adapt their technology to "modern needs" and reconstruct it as beautiful products that blend into our daily lives.

The technologies cultivated by experts in various fields have supported local industries and shaped the image of "Made in Japan" today. This is truly an invaluable asset, and I have nothing but respect for it.

However, Jptus is not simply fixated on "Made in Japan." We value the uncompromising quality control of Japanese companies and the aesthetic sense of "Made in Japanese" that pays attention to every detail.

For this reason, Jptus is fundamentally a collaborative product development with Japanese companies.

While prioritizing quality above all else, we also flexibly utilize the strengths of their overseas bases when necessary, promising to deliver the highest quality at a fair price.

As an aside, during the development process, employees of our collaborators sometimes tell us, "This work is different from usual and so much fun!" I've felt that products made with enjoyment by the現場 (workplace/team) can bring happiness to more people than products made under heavy pressure and low prices.

While it's a bit of a grander scale, the more vibrant the manufacturing現場 in local industries, the more it attracts people, and the more potential that local community has for prosperity. The vitality of the現場 might be directly linked to the well-being of the local community.
